PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering apparatus capable of reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In this power steering device 1, a cylindrical projection 33 is bulgingly formed to a peripheral surface 32 of a cylinder tube 3 by a burring processing, and a female screw 31 is formed in a position where the cylindrical projection 33 is formed. A male screw 40 of a coupling 18 is screwed onto the female screw 31, and a pipe 19 is connected to the cylinder tube 3 via the coupling 18. The bulging formation of the cylindrical projection 33 allows this power steering apparatus to be manufactured at low cost without welding. In the coupling 18, a housing 41 to which the pipe 19 is connected is fixed such that a direction of the housing can be changed. The pipe 19 communicates with an inside of the cylinder tube 3 via a branching hole 43 of the housing 41, an annular oil passage 47, and inner hole 55 of a bolt 51. Accordingly, the direction of the pipe 19 can be freely set.
