<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for overwrap which shows superb transparency, high gas barrier properties to oxygen gas, water vapor or the like, excellent fragrance keeping performance and best suitability for the outer packaging of various commodities by providing a vapor-deposited film of an inorganic oxide on one of the faces of a base material film and then a heat-sealable resin layer of polyester on both faces of the base material film. SOLUTION: The film 1 for overwrap comprises a vapor-deposited film 3 of an inorganic oxide formed on one of the faces of a base material film 2 and heat-sealable resin layers 4, 4a of a polyester resin formed on both faces of the base material film 2. Thus it is possible to manufacture the extremely useful film for overwrap characterized in that the slip properties, antiblocking properties and the like on the heat-sealable resin layer surface are outstanding or the ease of operation during outer packaging with the use of the film 1 is remarkable and the generation of harmful gas such as chlorine gas generated by incineration is not recognized, even when the film 1 is discarded for disposal as a waste after its use and the film 1 is highly friendly to environments and is best suited for outer packaging after a packaging container is filled with various commodities and wrapped.</p> |
