PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the print time required for the first copy when collate print is realized using a hard disc. SOLUTION: Upon receiving a print request PREQ from a language task 60, a print request management task 61 generates a print data PDAT where the number of copies is altered to 1 for the first copy and transmits the print data PDAT to a print execution task 63 in case of collate print. Upon receiving a print end report from the print execution task 63, the print request management task 61 stores data required for printing second and subsequent copies, as a storage data SDAT, in a hard disc 39. The print request management task 61 reads out the storage data SDAT stored in the hard disc 39 for second and subsequent copies and transmits a print data PDAT generated based on the storage data SDAT to the print execution task 63.
