PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laminated plate coated with organic base material metal foil which is excellent in lightweight properties, heat resistance, a coefficient of thermal expansion, and reliability in solder heat resistance after moisture absorption. migration resistance, and others. SOLUTION: A polybenzasol fiber cloth is used as a base material, preferably, a polyfunctional cyanic acid ester resin composition is used as a thermosetting resin, and more preferably, 10-80 wt.% of an insulating inorganic filler is mixed into the composition to obtain a metal foil-coated laminated plate. In this way, the metal foil-coated laminated plate excellent in lightweight properties, heat resistance, a coefficient of thermal expansion, and reliability in solder heat resistance after moisture absorption, migration resistance, and others can be manufactured.
