PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an eddy current generated on a base iron plate section by inclined magnetic field changes by preventing the magnetic saturation of magnetic poles by magnetic field adjusting bosses. SOLUTION: This device prevents magnetic saturation by forming the center sections of base iron plates 201a, 201b with material bodies 13a, 13b having high magnetic permeability and large saturation magnetization. The peripheral end faces of magnetic field adjusting bosses 6a, 6b are formed in a curved surface, and projections 14a, 14b are installed on the outer faces at the center sections of the base iron plates 201a, 201b to diffuse the local concentration of magnetic flux. The inclined magnetic field intrusion into the base iron plates 201a, 201b is prevented by preventing the magnetic saturation of pole pieces, the magnetic saturation of the pole pieces is reduced by diffusing the magnetic flux, an eddy current generated on a base iron plate section is reduced, and an MRI image with no strain can be obtained.
