PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed roller type continuous paper printer to control speed of a fixed roller by detecting sagging quantity of continuous paper in a non-contact state and not to give an adverse effect to a transfer part. SOLUTION: A continuous paper printer furnished with a paper feeding part 8 to feed continuous paper 100, picture image formation parts 1, 5 to transfer a toner image to the continuous paper fed from the paper feeding part and fixing parts 11, 12, 21 having two fixing rollers 11, 12 having elastic layers on their surfaces and to fix the toner image on the continuous paper is furnished with a sagging quantity detector 31 to optically detect sagging quantity of the continuous paper between the picture image formation parts and the fixing parts in a non-contact state. The fixing part 21 changes feeding speed of the continuous paper in accordance with the detected sagging quantity of the continuous paper.
