PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide granules for carrying surfactant of a large supporting properties and its production process. SOLUTION: The production process for the surfactant carrier comprises the step (I) of preparing a slurry containing at least sodium carbonate aqueous soluble salt, where excluding fumaric acid and/or its salt, and preparing the slurry including fumaric acid or its salt and the step (II) of spray-drying the slurry prepared in the step (I). The slurry is prepared so that the fumaric acid and/or its salt may dissolve in water, when sodium carbonate precipitates.
