PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for transporting and selling of a liquid which can be easily transported by a cargo handling machine or man power and has a construction suitable for measuring and selling liquors or drinking water. SOLUTION: The bottom portion 1a of a container body 1 including at its top a sealable cover body 5 is formed into a pyramid shape, and a pallet construction for transportation by means of a cargo handling machine such as forklift or lifter is provided, and legs 3 provided on the bottom portion of the container body are fixed on a base 2, on the lower part of which wheels 4 are provided. And a discharge valve mechanism 7 connected to the bottom portion of the container body is located above a side of the base 2, whereby the legs can function as protecting bodies for the mechanism 7.
