PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject sheet capable of simply and surely seasoning a food material such as vegetables, fishes or meats without sticking a seasoning material to hands or containers and without fouling the hands or containers by including specific fibers. SOLUTION: This seasoning sheet is obtained by applying or filling a seasoning material (e.g. an extract of fishes or shellfishes or sodium L-glutamate) in a sheet material (e.g. a nonwoven fabric, a woven fabric or a knit or a woven fabric) comprising at least hydrophobia fibers (e.g. polyethylene or a polyester) in an amount of preferably >=10 wt.%. For example, a sheet material 10 is directly sprayed with a liquid such as an aqueous solution containing a seasoning material H and preferably a water-soluble edible binder (e.g. starch or gum arabic) or is dipped in the liquid to impregnate the sheet material 10 with the seasoning material H. The sheet material 10 comprising at least the hydrophobic fibers preferably comprises hydrophilic fibers and/or fibers having functional groups having an ion exchange capacity. |
