PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify piping and wiring for a battery type forklift, and attain enhancement of mechanical rigidity or reduction of body weight. SOLUTION: A folded plate portion is fixed to an upper face of a bottom plate 40 of a battery chamber 38 by welding or the like to enhance easiness for wiring work and piping work and to enhance mechanical rigidity of a body structure part, while introducing structure of a folded plate 44 in a rear face plate 42 essential for forming the battery chamber 38 in the body structure part of a battery type forklift to secure by the folded plate portion a recess 45 forming a working space for wiring 47 and piping 49 ranging over from a battery B to motors 52, a pump 54 and electrical equipment arranged on the rear side of a rear face plate 42.
