PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soil treating agent for controlling injury by continuous cropping of plants capable of readily spraying or irrigating soil therewith by using active carbon. SOLUTION: This soil treating agent for controlling injury by continuous cropping of plants is obtained by dispersing active carbon in water with a dispersing agent. In this case, the average particle diameter of the active carbon dispersed in water is <=100μm. The content of the active carbon is 1-50 wt.% and the content of the dispersing agent is 0.010-20 wt.%.
