PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moistureproof packaging material markedly reduced in moisture permeability, hard to receive mechanical or chemical damage, excellent in blocking resistance and folding properties, facilitating the adhesion of a label or the like, excellent in macerating properties or the like at the time of recycle use of a used packaging container and capable of being produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: A moistureproof layer 3 composed of a coating agent comprising an aq. emulsion prepared by compounding 1-100 pts.wt. of a wax emulsion wherein wax is a main component of a vehicle with 100 pts.wt. of a synthetic resin emulsion wherein a synthetic resin is a main component of a vehicle on a solid basis is provided on the surface of a paper base material 2 and an overcoat layer 4 comprising a resin compsn. wherein a synthetic resin is a main component of a vehicle is provided on the moistureproof layer 3.
