PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp the position and direction of a three-dimensional image against a subject. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an ultrasonic probe 1, a volume data generation section 7 generating volume data based on an echo signal, a three-dimensional image generation section 8 generating a three-dimensional image in an optional visual line direction from the volume data, a generation section 9 generating a three-dimensional scan range mark in the visual line direction, a body mark generation section 13 generating a three-dimensional body mark in the visual line direction, a probe mark generation section 14 generating a three-dimensional probe mark in the visual line direction, a synthesis section 15 synthesizing the three-dimensional body mark, three-dimensional probe mark, and three-dimensional scan range mark to generate an orientation image based on the positional relation between a subject and the probe 1, and a CRT 16 displaying the three-dimensional image together with the orientation image. |
