PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject sheet having such characteristics that, when used in absorptive articles such as disposable diapers and sanitary napkins, it is thin inside a package of the above article (under a certain load), restoring its thickness when taken out of the package and to be used (when freed from the load), thus developing such a thickness as to be necessary for the above article (giving sense of security) when to be used, to provide a method for producing such a sheet, and to obtain an absorptive article using such a sheet. SOLUTION: This compression restorable sheet 1 is obtained by molding a resin composition comprising 40-98 wt.% of a thermoplastic elastomer resin so as to be 15-100 g/m2 in basis weight, 1-10 mm in thickness under no load and >=60% in compression recovery.
