PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of the ion exchange resin hardness removing performance of a washing machine having a compact ion removing means to remove cations included in the washing water. SOLUTION: This washing machine has a washing tub for washing, a water feeding means for feeding water to the washing tub, a drain means for discharging water in the washing tub, and an ion removing means on the way of the water passage of the water feeding means. The ion removing means has a resin container 33 for storing ion exchange resin 43 and a container 31 for storing a regenerant for recovering the ion removing capacity of the ion exchange resin. A resin room for storing the ion exchange resin in the resin container 33 is divided into plural rooms by a bulkhead, each of which stores the ion exchange resin 43. |
