PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate a printing density by detecting an ink tack value in the state similar to the state that a print sheet and a plate cylinder are relatively steady or similar state, and controlling a pressing pressure based on the tack value. SOLUTION: The stencil printer comprises a rotational speed detecting means for detecting a rotational speed of a squeegee roller 5. The roller 5 rotates to follow a rotation of an ink roller, and its speed is affected by an influence of the tack value. When the tack value is low, the ink is early torn, and the speed of the roller is reduced. A press pressure control means controls a pressing pressure in response to the speed of the roller detected by the detecting means.
