PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically horizontally open a hood where its opening is necessary, by incorporating a spring of shape memory alloy extending a support shaft by a prescribed stroke by a temperature. SOLUTION: A lower hook 6 is provided in both ends of a cross bar 5 fixed to a cylindrical unit 2 by crossing therewith under the cylindrical unit 2, a support shaft 7 is inserted slidably in an axial line direction in the cylindrical unit 2, and an upper hook 8 is provided in an upper end of this support shaft 7. A spring 11 of shape memory alloy extending the support shaft 7 by a prescribed stroke by a temperature is incorporated into the cylindrical unit 2. The lower hook 6 is hook locked to a bumper mounting hole, and the upper hook 8 is set by hook locking it to a hood lock part provided in a tip end of a closed hood. In this condition, in a drying process after painting of finish coating, the spring 11 of shape memory alloy is extended by a temperature in a drying furnace, and the support shaft 7 is lifted, to automatically open the hood and position it horizontally lifted.
