PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a danger of a rear-end collision against a preceding vehicle by suspending a fuel injection amount control by an auto-cruise control when an operating lever switch of an auxiliary brake is turned on and releasing an automatic control and an auto-cruise control of the auxiliary brake when the switch is turned off. SOLUTION: When an auto-cruise control switch 1 is turned on and auto- cruise control is performed, the presence or absence of a signal for controlling an exhaust brake 12 and a signal for controlling a retarder 13 is investigated and whether an auxiliary brake 11 is automatically operated or not is judged. When the judgment is YES, fuel injection amount control by the auto-cruise control is suspended when an on-signal is inputted from the auxiliary brake operating lever switch 3. When the on-signal from the auxiliary brake operating lever switch 3 is turned off so that a driver may reduce braking force by the auxiliary brake, continuation of the automatic operation of the auxiliary brake 11 is released and also the auto-cruise control is released. |
