PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the lowering of image quality by reducing pitch deviation as a plural-beam scanning system. SOLUTION: This plural-beam scanner is provided with a light source part having plural light emission parts 11a and 12a, a deflector 4 deflecting plural luminous flux from the light source part side and image forming systems 13, 14, 3, 5 and 6 coupling the plural luminous flux diverging from the light source part, guiding them to the deflector and condensing respective beams deflected by the deflector at a surface to be scanner 8 as light spots. The light source part is constituted so that the plural light spots condensed on the surface to be scanned are separated by leaving a desired interval in a sub-scanning direction. Then, the exit optical axes of the respective luminous flux radiated from the plural light emission parts are provided with an angle in an identical direction to the optical axis of a corresponding coupling lens in the sub-scanning direction.
