PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dial for clock with a plenty of pattern variation expressing ornamental pattern with three-dimensional effect. SOLUTION: A dial for a clock consisting of a dial plate given an ornamental pattern by surface treatment of plating, painting, printing or combination of them is constituted by forming an ornamental pattern layer 6 consisting of a fiber pattern layer 4 formed by partially pasting a number of fibers with a bonding layer put on the dial plate 2 in pattern shape and a clear coating layer 5 formed on the dial plate 2 containing the fiber pattern layer 4 and providing a mark of hour digits at specific positions. Thus, an ornamental pattern with three-dimensional effect can be realized.
