PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the laid states of various underground pipelines recognizable at a glance in burying a new pipeline by executing sewerage works, etc., by accurately and clearly displaying three-dimensionally the laid states of already buried underground pipelines. SOLUTION: A system for displaying laid state of underground pipeline displays the laid state of a buried underground pipeline on a display 31 in such a way that the system specifies the running and measuring reference position which becomes the measurement starting point of a truck set up in a pipeline having a predefiend diameter on three-dimensional coordinates, finds the amount of displacement of the truck in the X-Y-Z direction form the reference position when the truck is moved, and obtains the position of the moved point of the truck corresponding to the amount of displacement on the three-dimensional coordinates. Then the system connects the obtained position on the three- dimensional coordinates to the position of the measurement starting point of the truck on the three-dimensional coordinates and forms the pipeline on the straight line.
