PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety, handling convenience and power saving property of a child lock device by a method wherein fire extinguishing operation of a gas cooker under operation is effected when two contact signals of a first switching element for an IC contact are different, however, all operations are stopped until two contact signals become different. SOLUTION: Two contact signals of a first switching element 5 are inputted into a microcomputer 3 and when the microcomputer 3 can judge that two microcomputer ports are different, such as a first microcomputer port 8 is HI and a second microcomputer port 9 is low or the first microcomputer port 8 is low and a second microcomputer port 9 is HI, a gas cooker can be operated, however, two contact signals are not different, such as the first microcomputer port 8 is HI and the second microcomputer port 9 is HI or the first microcomputer port 8 is LOW and the second microcomputer port 9 is LOW, the fire extinguishing operation of a gas oven under operation is effected and all operations are stopped until the signal inputs of two contacts become different.
