摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber probe with high reliability and high efficiency by decreasing resonance of light in the fiber probe to stabilize a recording and reproducing signal. SOLUTION: An aperture 73 smaller than the diameter of a core 71 is formed at the top end of a fiber probe consisting of the core 71 surrounded with a clad 72, and an antireflection film 75 is formed on the opposite end face to the top end. A metal coating 74 is applied around the aperture 73 to give a light-condensing effect by inner reflection. By forming the antireflection film, resonance of light caused in the fiber probe is decreased and an optical device using the fiber probe can be stably operated. Thus, the fiber probe with high reliability and high efficiency for introduction of light can be obtd. Or, instead of forming the antireflection film, the end face of the core opposite to the top end may be formed as inclined against the longitudinal direction of the fiber or formed into a curved face.
