PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively produce a card processor and to exclude illegality and a mischief by allowing an engaging member for engaging to a shutter for freely opening and closing a card insertion port used in common as an ejecting port to function as a stopper for stopping a card at a prescribed position. SOLUTION: At the time of inserting a card 40 into a carrying path 26 from a card insertion port used in common as an ejecting port 26a, a shutter flapper 27 is rotated with an axis 29 in a center against a stretching spring 31. Rollers 15, 18 are simultaneously rotated to insert-hold the card 40 between the roller 18 and a pinch roller 34 to carry in a direction A and when the rear end of the card passes through the pin 24 of a solenoid 22, the solenoid 22 is energized to raise the pin 24. Thus, the flapper 27 is engaged with the pin 24 to close the path 26. In addition, the card 40 is carried in the direction A and stops when its tip is detected by a sensor 36. When the card is next carried inversely in a direction B and when its rear end passes through a sensor 35, the tip of the card 40 is engaged by the pin 24 to be stopped and positioned within a range L where processing by an information processing substrate 26c is possible. |
