PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which stored goods can be readily taken in and out in respect of a lower container and an upper container. SOLUTION: When a V-door 32 is drawn being released from a closed state, an upper container 39 is drawn following a lower container 33. A protrusion 47 of the upper container 39 is then caught by a stopper 48 so that the lower container 33 is drawn in a state where the movement of the upper container 39 is stopped. When the upper container 39 falls along an inclined surface 37 to disengage the protrusion 47 of the upper container 39 and the stopper 48, the upper container 39 is drawn following the lower container 33. Accordingly, since the upper container 39 just out from a vegetable compartment 9 while the V-door 32 is open, and also the upper container 39 is shifted backward with respect to the lower container 33, stored goods can readily be taken in and out in respect of both the lower container 33 and the upper container 39.
