The self turning axle is composed of a ball bearing crown wheel (6) fixed under the chassis allowing rotation in bends. Its support frame (7) fitted in another larger frame of the same type (8) allows it to slide to the right or to the left under the rear sweeping impulses of multiple axle semi-trailers. The semi-trailer also carries suspensions (5) which retain a standard type axle (2) which is transformed by this assembly into a self turning axle by means of shafts (9) held at the center of the chassis (3) by actuators (11).
