PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a user to easily grasp whether a correct response to a question sentence is obtained or not within an actual time concerning a complicated inquiry sentence in an interactive problem resolution system by means of a natural language. SOLUTION: A response generating method for generating a response sentence including a resolution with respect to the given inquiry sentence by natural language dialogue includes a response sentence generating step for generating a response sentence which includes a partial problem expression pair together with the derived resolution, where a partial problem expression being the element of the inquiry sentence corresponding to each partial problem is made to be a pair with a partial resolution expression being the expression of the resolution concerning each partial problem when >=1 partial problem to be resolved exists for deriving the resolution.
