PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the double reflection of display images by incident light on the display surface of a PDP(plasma display panel) from the outside by adhering an optical filter having a visible light reflectively regulation layer, a color tone regulation layer for approximating the display colors of a white display to the display colors of a display target, etc., on the display surface side substrate of the PDP. SOLUTION: The optical filter 41 is directly stuck with an adhesive layer 34, such as an epoxy adhesive for sticking an optical member, such as a lens, to the display surface side substrate of the PDP 1 having a drive control circuit 32 and the PDP is arranged in an armor casing 33. The optical filter 41 is composed of a transparent impact relieving member 42 which relieves mechanical impact from outside, the color tone regulation layer 43 which is disposed on the rear surface side (PDP 1 side) of the impact relieving member 42 and lowers the problem of the influence of the light emission color of discharge gas on the light emission color of phosphors and the light reflectivity regulation layer 44 for visible light, etc., which is disposed on the front surface side of the impact relieving member 42. As a result, such problem that the color temperature is lowered by the overlapping of the light emission color for the discharge gas on the color emission color of the phosphors is solved. |
