<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dictionary managing system by which consistency in renewal of a dictionary in a voice recognition system in which plural users utilize the same dictionary for voice recognition can be obtained, construction of the system can be fast and at a low cost and further which does not depend on a network protocol. SOLUTION: A plurality of personal computers 1, 2, 3 respectively mounted with voice recognition applications are connected to a network and the personal computer 1 to be a server is provided with a dictionary for voice recognition 4 and its updating means. The personal computers 2, 3 to be clients output updating dictionary data as an intermediate file to a directory of the server and the server renews the dictionary for voice recognition 4 according to the intermediate file when the intermediate file is present in the directory and then deletes the intermediate file.</p> |
