PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid film type plate heat exchanger having a liquid distributor to uniformly distribute fluid in a simple shape and distribute two kinds of fluids without being mixed together, and to provide the liquid distributor. SOLUTION: A space the inside of which is closed forms a first fluid passage. A plurality of plates are situated such that plates 2 and 2' along the outer surfaces of which second fluid flows down to effect heat-exchange are situated with a given gap therebetween. In a so formed liquid film type plate heat exchanger 1, a plate-form body in an oblong shape having spring properties is bent approximately at a central part and formed approximately in an inverted V-shape or a V-shape in side section. Approximate horizontal edges 4 are situated at two ends and a slit along which fluid flows down is formed in the edge to provide a so formed liquid distributor 3. A recessed part in which the liquid distributor is situated may be formed in the outer surface of the plate or a plate-form body in an oblong shape having spring properties is bent approximately at a central part and formed in a U-shape or a V-shape in side section, approximately right-angled ends are situated at the two ends thereof, and a slit is formed in the edge.
