摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonance power supply for rapid cycle synchrotron capable of assuring a requisite voltage accuracy even if the load mesh number has increased. SOLUTION: A resonance power supply for a rapid cycle synchrotron is composed of a rectifier circuit 4 to rectify the AC voltage, a high-frequency inverter 5 connected with the rectifier circuit 4, a high-frequency transformer 6 connected with the inverter 5, a rectifier circuit 7 to rectify the output of the high-frequency transformer, and a smoother circuit 8 to smoothen the output of the rectifier circuit 7, wherein the output of the smoother circuit is supplied to a resonance capacitor through a choke transformer. The high-frequency inverter uses a voltage-driven switching element of self-arc extinction type.
