PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the swallowing phenomenon of an optical fiber and to maintain workability in the traction laying, even in the case of application to a traction terminal as the termination part of a slot type optical cable. SOLUTION: The termination part 13 of an optical cable is such that, in the periphery of the reduced diameter part 6 formed by removing the outer circumference at the tip end of the slot rod 3 which is exposed with the outer skin removed of an optical cable 1 terminal, an optical fiber 5 drawn out of the slot groove 4 is arranged in an accompanied manner; and that, the adhesive fixing part 8, which fixedly buries this optical fiber 5 in an adhesive 7 near the reduced diameter part 6 of the slot rod 3 including a tube 10 for reinforcing the optical fiber 5, is formed in a dimension unstorable in the slot groove 4, serving as a stopper preventing the swallowing phenomenon of the optical fiber 5.
