PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a battery checker by which the normality of a battery can be decided precisely and simply. SOLUTION: A battery 11 as an object to be measured is connected to clips 6a, 6b. Pulse voltages are applied, in the prescribed number of times, to a load Rs which closes a relay only for a prescribed time by an operation from a CPU 3. The internal resistance RI of the battery 11 after their application is measured. The CPU 3 calculates the difference between mutual values of the internal resistance RI, and it decides 'the battery to be abnormal' when the difference is at a threshold or higher.
