PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the tracking performance relating to the skew based on the wobbling of a surface by setting the compliance of one on the outer peripheral side of a disk among the suspension wires for supporting a lens holder larger than that of the others. SOLUTION: The lens holder 2 for holding an objective lens 1 is provided with fixing plates 5a and 5b on both sides across the objective lens 1 thereof. The one ends of the suspension wires 6a to 6d are fixed by solder to the upper and lower land parts thereof. The other ends of the suspension wires 6a to 6d are respectively fixed by solder to a mounting plate 7, by which the lens holder 2 is displaceably and elastically supported to a frame. All of the suspension wires 6a to 6d consist of wire materials of 30 mm in effective length consisting of beryllium of the same material. For example, the wire diameter of the one suspension wire 6a existing on the outer peripheral side of the disk is specified to 0.11 mm and the wire diameter of the other suspension wires 6b to 6d is specified to 0.12 mm.
