PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer body which has extremely high transfer efficiency from a first image carrier to the intermediate transfer body, and from the intermediate transfer body to a second image carrier, a process for producing the intermediate transfer body and an image forming device. SOLUTION: This intermediate transfer body is used for the image forming device by which a picture formed on the first image carrier is transferred to the intermediate transfer body and, thereafter, is furthermore transferred to the second image carrier. In such a case, molding material is cylindrically melt- extruded with an extruder and the intermediate transfer body, which is molded to the desired shape and dimension, has at least a first layer and a second layer in this order, where tensile strength to the first layer is >=400 kgf/cm2, breaking elongation is 3.0% to 250%, and the second layer is formed of a thermoplastic elastomer.
