PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte type fuel cell capable of maintaining stable output performance over a long period of time by suppressing an interface reaction between an air electrode and a solid electrolyte to enhance their bonding strength. SOLUTION: This solid electrolyte type fuel cell is made by forming a solid electrolyte 31 and a fuel electrode 33 in order on an outer surface of a cylindrical air electrode 32. The solid electrolyte 31 is made up of partially stabilized or stabilized ZrO2 containing a rare-earth element, and the air electrode 32 is made up of a perovskite-type multiple oxide containing at least La, a rare- earth element (other than La), and Mn. The solid electrolyte 31 contains Mn, and the amount of Mn is 0.3 to 1.2 wt.% in a surface part of the solid electrolyte 31 on the side of the fuel electrode 33. |
