The procedure consists of fixing an indicator plate of a thermoplastic material coloured in the mass to provide a distinctive date marking for equipment subject to safety monitoring. The plate is in the form of a label (1) with two projecting branches (2, 3) at one end and bushes (21, 31) for a fixing such as a bolt (4). The nut (7) on the end of the bolt fits into a cavity in one bush (31), while the bolt head (11) with a hexagonal recess fits into the a cavity in the other bush (21). Between the two bushes the bolt passes through a metal sleeve (14), and the bolt head and/or recess can be filled with a resin or mastic to prevent tampering. Marker panels (20) on the plate have raised edges to protect them, and an additional recess (23) can contain an electronic circuit. |
