PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easy downloading of music data to a portable player. SOLUTION: A personal computer 201 of a download device 200 reads exiting music type data stored at present in a flash EEP-ROM 2 of an MP3 player 1, desired music genre data desired by a user and new music genre data sent form a center station. When new genre data are equal to desired genre data but differ from existing type data, the flush EEP-ROM 2 of the MP3 player 1 automatically stores the music data from the center station. |
