SOLUTION: In this receiving device, discrete Fourier transformation, with which the number of sample points is equal to the total number of subcarriers for horizontal polarization, is performed to the synchronizing detecting signals of vertically and horizontally polarized received signals by first and second N size DFT parts 5 and 7, demodulation parts 6 and 8 and carrier separating parts 9 and 10 and the demodulated signals of respective subcarriers obtained from the respective signals are separated into subcarrier components for vertical and horizontal polarization. Next, the subcarrier components for vertical polarization are synthesized by weighing proportional to the power ratio of these components through polarized component power sum calculating parts 11-14, coefficient calculating parts 15 and 16 and signal composing parts 17 and 18, the subcarrier components for horizontal polarization are composed by weighting them in proportional to the power ratio of these components and vertically and horizontally polarized reproduced data are provided by demappers 19 and 20 for vertical and horizontal polarization.
