PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a bar-shaped iron core easily manufacturable and the length and thickness of the core easily adjustable, by forming a conical tapering-off section by winding a belt-like metallic sheet having a slope formed to gradually reduce the width of the sheet in the longitudinal direction by using the broader width-side end of the sheet as a winding starting end. SOLUTION: The width of a belt-like metallic sheet 1 having a prescribed width and length is gradually reduced from one end side to the other end side by forming a slope 2 by cutting the sheet 1 in the longitudinal direction. When the sheet 1 is wound by using the broader width-side end A as a winding starting end, an iron core 3 having a conical tapering-off section 2a which gradually becomes thinner toward the front end from the base section 2b can be formed. A high-voltage generating coil is constituted of primary and secondary windings wound around a bobbin 4 by using this core 3. The core 3 is inserted into the bobbin 4 with the thicker base section 2b on the low-potential side of the secondary winding 6 and the thinner front end section 2a on the high-potential side of the winding 6. Consequently, the insulating distances between the bar-shaped iron core 3 and windings can be secured without reducing the number of the windings or changing the wall thickness of the bobbin 4 as the potential at the windings become higher.
|
