<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove insulation cover of a cable terminal. SOLUTION: An insulation cover remover 10 is constituted by fixing a lower plate 13 between a pair of support plates 14A and 14B projected from a chassis 11, and also attaching a upper plate 12 to a pivoted rotatable support shaft 15, and coupling a stepping pedal 17 arranged under and the bending end of the support shaft 15 together by wire 16, and further locking a spring 18 to the spring lock 15b provided at the support shaft 15. The upper and lower plates 12 and 13 are separated by stepping down the stepping pedal 17 of this device, and a cable D is inserted, and the pedal 17 is returned to catch the cable D with the upper and lower plates 12 and 13 by the energizing force of the spring 18, and then by pulling the cable D, whereby the insulating cover Z is caught between the upper and lower plates 12 and 13 to be thereby removed.</p> |
