摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for positioning the connecting surface angle of an optical part by which the light loss in the connecting surface of the optical part connected to an optical fiber can be reduced by arranging the connecting surface of the optical fiber in parallel with the connecting surface of an optical fiber guide. SOLUTION: When the angle between the connecting surface 35 of an optical fiber 3 which is inclined by a prescribed angle from perpendicularity relative to an optical axis L and the connecting surface 5S of an optical fiber guide 5 which is inclined likewise is set to a desired angle, first the position in the optical axis direction of the outer periphery of the connecting surface 3S of the optical fiber 3 is detected, the relation between the position in the optical axis direction and the deviation angleθaround the optical axis of the optical fiber 3 is obtained, the deviation angleθaround the optical axis is obtained from the position in the optical axis direction of the point on the outer periphery of the connecting surface 3S, the optical fiber 3 is rotated by a prescribed angle based on the obtained deviation angleθaround the optical axis, and whereby the connecting surface 3S of the optical fiber 3 is set to a desired angle with the connecting surface 5S of the optical fiber guide 5.
