PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve serviceability of a planar heater and to improve cooking performance in a high-frequency heating device having a machine room constitut ed below a heating chamber. SOLUTION: At the lower part of a heating chamber 31, a bottom plate 27 has one end consisting of a machine room having an electric part and is brought into a unit, and the back forming a press plate 36 is formed in a manner to be mounted on the outside of a bottom wall surface 32 of the heating chamber 31. Since a planar heater 34 is located between the bottom surface 32 of the heating chamber 31 and the press plate 36, only by removing the bottom plate 27, removal and mounting of the planar heater 34 are facilitated. Further, since the peripheral end of the planar heater 34 is released, adhesion to the bottom wall surface 32 of the heating chamber 31 is improved and cooking performance is improved through uniformization of thermal distribution. Further, since a heat reservoir chamber is formed at the periphery of the bottom surface 32 of the heating chamber 31, thermal distribution of the peripheral side in a chamber is rendered excellent and cooking performance is improved.
