<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a locking/unlocking structure of a cable connector capable of generating certain coupling even if the mounting operation is conducted with a cable grasped. SOLUTION: In the condition that a connector 10 is mounted in a housing 30, a lock disengaging member 13 is slided from the set position to the disengage position so that the connector 10 is disengaged from the housing 30. In this locking/unlocking structure of cable connector, if the cable 11 is grasped and a cable holding member 12 is inserted into the housing 30, a projection 25 on the lock disengaging member 13 pushes and opens a resilient beam 36 of the housing 30 to cause an engaging hole 37 in the beam 36 to be engaged by a pawl 19 on the cable holding member 12 and also the lock disengaging member 13 to move to the set position, at least with the elasticity energy of the member 13 which is pressed by the cable holding member 12 and deformed elastically, and the connector 10 is installed in the housing 30.</p> |
