摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a positive and negative ion quantity measuring device capable of measuring positive and negative ion quantities simultaneously without generating dispersion of data at a free position in the atmosphere at any position. SOLUTION: In this positive and negative ion quantity measuring device, one or more pairs of detectors 10, 20 formed by housing pairs of electrode cylinders 12, 22 and collecting electrodes 13, 23 in housings 11, 21 are installed separately, and caps 16, 26 are installed on inlets of the respective housings 11, 21 and fans 14, 24 are installed on rear ends thereof, and air is absorbed into the housings 11, 21 by movement of the fans 14, 24, and positive and negative ions included in the air are allowed to abut on the pairs of the electrode cylinders 12, 22 and collecting electrodes 13, 23 having positive or negative polarity applied thereon, and current values corresponding to the numbers of positive or negative ions adsorbed on the collecting electrodes 13, 23 are taken out, and current-voltage conversion and A/D conversion thereof are executed and the results are inputted into a microcomputer as information and operated and displayed digitally or graphically in monochrome or in colors as the number of positive ions, the number of negative ions, the number of total ions and/or the difference between the numbers of positive and negative ions.
