PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for giving an inexpensive display to an outer peripheral part, without making the external diameter of a cylindrical part large as to a discriminating display method for resin-made cylindrical member which is used for the manufacture, etc., of an antenna used for a portable radio device. SOLUTION: While a cover 22 of a resin-made cylindrical member is rotated on the center axis of the cylinder part, adequate ink 29 of a prescribed color is jetted by an ink jet printer 25 to the outer periphery of the cover 22 to a specific diameter to give a ring-shaped color display 24, and then the discriminating display method for resin-made cylinder member can be obtained, giving an inexpensive display to the outer peripheral part without making the external diameter of the cover 22 large.
