PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control device for an electric vehicle that generates a required braking force in good response by using the control of an electric motor together with the control of a mechanical braking force that has long response wasting time and much delay in response, and that improves the drivability by controlling the vibration of a driving system. SOLUTION: This control device is provided with a braking force control means that controls an electric motor regenerative braking force and a mechanical braking force to first and second target values Tm*, Th* in accordance with a required braking force Tb*. The braking force controlling means is provided with a means 56 that sets up the second target value by subtracting the first target value from the required braking force, a means 53 that calculates a model vehicle velocity Vmm based on the required braking force and speed information Vm, and first braking force target value correcting means 54, 57, 58 that correct the first braking force target value Tm** in accordance with the difference between the model vehicle velocity and speed information. |
