PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make inputtable and outputtable information directly to and from the neural system of a living body by inputting desirable information to a connected nerve fiber or taking it out of the nerve fiber by using the correspondence relation between the nerve signal of a nerve fiber at a connection destination and information that the signal means. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with an input device which inputs information to the nerve at the connection destination, an output device which takes information out of the nerve at the connection destination, the identification information of the nerve fiber at the connection destination, information regarding the correspondence relation between the nerve signal of the nerve fiber at the connection destination and the information that the signal means, and a signal conversion part which converts information by using the identification information and correspondence relation information. Then information transmitted from an artificial organ is converted by the signal conversion part into a desirable signal, which is inputted to a selected nerve through the input device. Information taken out of the nerve signal of the nerve by the output device is converted by the signal conversion part into a desirable signal, which is transfered to the artificial organ. |
