PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to recover bottles adhered with a treating liquid separately from the treating liquid while washing these bottles. SOLUTION: This washing device makes a cylindrical body 131 into which capstans 10 subjected to a surface treatment are fed tiltably to and fro at the turning center of the cylindrical body like a see-saw. The capstans after the surface treatment are collected to the end face side of the cylindrical body on the left side and washing water is poured in this state therein to flush away the treating liquid adhered to the surfaces of the capstans. The flushed away water (waste liquid) is drained as it is from the end face side. After the treating liquid is flushed away, the cylindrical body is tilted to an opposite side. At this time, the washing water is poured again therein in order to allow the easy slip of the capstans in the cylindrical body. The washed capstans may be thus discharged and recovered from the other end face of the cylindrical body. As a result, the waste liquid mingled with the treating liquid and the ordinary waste water may be thereby separated and recovered and, therefore, the device taking the environment into consideration may be embodied. Since the recovery may be embodied by using one piece of the cylindrical body, the constitution thereof is extremely simple.
