PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system extension terminal that can singly realize a plurality of interfaces. SOLUTION: The system extension terminal U is provided with a primary side transmission means 2, a secondary side transmission means 6, an address management table in which a primary side address and a secondary side address are registered while being made to correspond to each other, a secondary side state data table that makes a state of a secondary side terminal denoted by a state signal received from a secondary side monitor controller correspond to an address of the terminal and stores then, and control means 1, 5 that refer to an address management table and the secondary side state data table upon the receipt of a monitor signal from a primary side monitor controller, convert the primary side address added to the monitor signal into the secondary side address, and allow the primary side monitor controller to return a state signal of a terminal corresponding to the secondary side address.
